PU direct-buried insulated pipe is a relatively common steel-pipe product among cold-drawn pipes. The main production parameters of Grade 20 PU direct-buried insulated pipe are wall thickness, length, material, diameter, delivery date, and whether commodity inspection is required. Grade 20 cold-drawn steel pipes for export generally do not exceed 6 meters in length, depending on container size. PU direct-buried insulated pipes are mainly used for certain mechanical parts and mechanical structural tubes.

 

Grade 20 PU direct-buried insulated pipe refers mainly to the carbon content of the steel, about 0.2%. This grade is also more common than other quality carbon steels. It is often used to manufacture seamless pipe, dies, quality carbon steel, channel, I-beams, and other products. The linear mass of hot-expanded seamless pipe is calculated from the expanded diameter: after the original pipe is expanded, mass per meter is based on the expanded OD, with an expansion factor of about 1.04 relative to the original diameter. Linear mass of Grade 20 hot-expanded seamless pipe: 0.02466 × (OD − wall thickness) × wall thickness. Grade 20 hot-expanded seamless pipe is widely used in steel structures, bridge supports, and transmission pipelines.
