  Protective Measures in Insulated Pipeline Construction

  1. The inner steel pipe is coated with high-temperature-resistant organosilicon anti-corrosion coating (resistant to above 400°C), which effectively prevents corrosion of the carrier pipe and extends service life.

  2. Pipe ends shall be sealed with polyethylene film or three-layer PE cold-applied tape to prevent moisture ingress before installation or during construction.

  3. Below 350℃, centrifugal glass wool is an excellent insulation material: light in weight, geometrically stable, with a multi-layer staggered ribbon structure that effectively reduces heat loss while controlling the jacket surface temperature and preventing cold bridges, thereby ensuring temperature control of the jacket anti-corrosion coating. It has the property of fully recovering its physical properties and geometry after water has dried. This feature allows the pipeline to adapt to construction conditions in areas with a high groundwater table, greatly facilitating construction and reducing cost.

  4. The steel outer shell has high strength and good sealing performance, successfully solving the difficulties of waterproofing and leak prevention. As introduced by the insulated-pipe manufacturer, using a steel pipe as the protective jacket offers high strength, is not easily damaged, and can bear relatively high loads. To extend service life, the steel shell must be given anti-corrosion treatment to ensure the safety of the heating pipe. It can be used more safely in environments of different temperatures, especially in high-temperature steam pipeline projects.

  5. Sliding supports and internal fixing devices in the steam pipe use special material insulation measures to prevent thermal bridges, thereby ensuring temperature control of the jacket anti-corrosion coating.

  7. Drain pipes on the steel jacket can not only remove moist gas in time, but also serve as alarm signal pipes during daily operation.

  8. Jinan insulated pipe: thermal compensation of the pipeline uses high-quality bellows compensators, installed inside the casing and buried directly. No observation well is required; construction is convenient and the construction period is short.
