PU foam insulated pipe,
PU Insulated Pipe In PU foam insulated steel pipe systems, elbows are fittings that change the direction of the pipeline. Based on angle, three types are more commonly used; projects may also require other non-standard angles. Elbow materials include cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. Connection methods with the pipeline: welding is more common, along with flange connection, hot-melt connection, electrofusion connection, threaded connection, and socket connection.
By production process they may be classified as: welded elbows, stamped elbows, cast elbows, etc. Other names: elbow, angle bend, bend.
PU-foamed steel pipe / PU insulated steel pipe: according to the technical requirements of the conveyed medium, steel pipe, seamless steel pipe, and double-sided submerged-arc spiral-welded pipe are used.
PU insulation layer: rigid PU foam. Outer jacket of PU insulated steel pipe: HDPE or FRP.
Leakage alarm wire of PU insulated pipe: When manufacturing high-temperature prefabricated direct-buried insulated pipes, an alarm wire is embedded in the insulation close to the steel pipe. Once a leak occurs somewhere in the pipeline, the signal is transmitted through the alarm wire, and a dedicated detection instrument can alarm, accurately locate the leak, and indicate the severity of the leak, so that maintenance personnel can quickly handle the leaking section and ensure safe operation of the heating network.
